Of the few tools the go-light, go-hard hunter relies on, nowhere is this more evident than when it comes to knives. Choose the wrong knife for the task and frustration is sure to follow. That is why Muddy developed the all-new SWAP Replace-A-Blade folding knife. With one game animal presenting several tasks to the do-it-yourself hunter—field dressing, skinning, caping, and deboning—it makes sense to reach for a knife that can do it all.
The SWAP is a lock back folder built on a patent pending interchangeable blade system. With three blade profiles available, hunters can choose the best blade for the task. There is a gut hook for opening tough hide, a 3.5-inch drop point for precise cutting work and skinning, and a 5-inch boning blade to get meat ready for packaging.
All blades are made of 420J2 steel for its toughness and corrosion resistance. When a blade eventually dulls, simply slide it off the spine and replace it with a fresh blade. No more slowing down the job because of a dull blade. Muddy offers several replacement blade packs in quantities to suit every hunter's needs.
The SWAP knife comes with a rugged, slip resistant GFN handle that provides a solid grip when hands are messy or when reaching for difficult cuts. The handles are blaze orange to prevent losing the knife in the field. For carry convenience, the SWAP features an ambidextrous pocket clip and a lanyard hole for multiple carry options. A belt-carry Mossy Oak® camo blade pouch is also available.
